柴达木盆地

　　柴达木盆地位于青藏高原东北部的青海省境内，面积约25万平方千米，是中国第三大盆地。盆地底部平均海拔2,600～3,000米，是中国海拔最高的大盆地。

　　盆地底部平坦开阔，骑马或驾车就像是在高原上行驶一样。

　　盆地内部有丰富的矿产资源，人们称它为“聚宝盆”。盐、石油、铅锌和硼砂是盆地中的“四大宝”。

　　这里的盐特别多，简直是盐的世界！大大小小的盐湖有100多个，食盐总储量有600亿吨之多！在这里我们可以看到用盐铺设的飞机场和用盐盖起的房屋。

　　The Qaidam Basin

　　The Qaidam Basin, the third largest basin in China, has an area of about 250,000 km2, and is located in Qinghai Province northeast of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The average altitude of the bottom of the basin is about 2,600 -3,000 m, the highest in China.

　　The bottom of the basin is very wide and flat so that it feels like crossing an ordinary plateau.

　　There are rich mineral resources in the Qaidam Basin, such as the "four great treasures": salt, oil, lead zinc and borax.

　　There is so much salt, in fact, that it is actually a salt world! There are more than 100 salt lakes. The total salt reserves reach 60 billion tn. Here we can see airport and houses built by salt.
