中国的地理位置

　　中国位于欧亚大陆的东部，太平洋的西岸。中国的陆上疆界长达20,000多千米，拥有15个邻国。

　　大陆海岸线北起中朝边界的鸭绿江口，南到中越边界的北仑河口，总长18,000多千米。濒临渤海、黄海、东海、南海四大海域。沿海分布5,000多个岛屿，台湾岛是中国的第一大岛。岛屿海岸线长14,000千米。

　　中国东邻朝鲜，东北部、北部和西北部与俄罗斯、蒙古、哈萨克斯坦、吉尔吉斯斯坦、塔吉克斯坦相邻，西部和西南部毗邻阿富汗、巴基斯坦、印度、尼泊尔、锡金、不丹，南接越南、老挝、缅甸。

　　同中国隔海相望的国家有日本、韩国、菲律宾、马来西亚、印度尼西亚和文莱。

　　Location of China in the World

　　Located in the east of the Asia-Europe Continent, on the western shore of the Pacific Ocean, China has a land boundary of some 20,000 km, with 15 neighboring countries.

　　China's mainland coastline extends from the Yalu River on the border with North Korea in the north to the Beilun River on the border of China and Vietnam in the south, measuring approximately 18,000 km. The Chinese mainland is flanked to the east and south by the Bohai, Yellow, East China and South China seas. A total of over 5,000 islands dot China's territorial waters. The largest of these is Taiwan. The island coastline measures approximately 14,000 km.

　　China is bordered by Korea to the east; Mongolia to the north; Russia to the northeast; Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to the northwest; Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan to the west and southwest; and Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar to the south.

　　Across the seas to the east and southeast of China are Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.
