东北平原

　　东北平原山环水绕、沃野千里，面积约35万平方千米，是中国的第一大平原。

　　东北平原以黑土著称。黑土含有大量的有机质，人们形容它“用手一捏直冒油，插根柴禾也发芽”。东北平原是中国最重要的粮食产地。

　　东北平原地下蕴藏石油、煤炭等丰富的矿产资源。著名的大庆油田就位于它的北部。

　　The Northeast Plain surrounded by mountains and rivers has boundless fertile fields. With an area of about 350,000 km2, it is the biggest plain in China.

　　The Northeast Plain is famous for its black soil, which contains a lot of organic substances. People describe it in such words as "oil will leak out if you nip the soil; even a branch can bud in it".

　　The Northeast Plain is the most important grain producing area in China, but it also contains oil, coal and other mineral resources. The famous Daqing Oilfield is located in the north of the plain.
